Student living at Langebro
Langebro Kollegium is the smallest, and perhaps coziest, of all seven DIS Kollegiums. You will have the opportunity to get to know all of your fellow residents and be part of an intimate and tight-knit community with lots of social events.
Located right by the waterfront at Langebro Bridge, you will be living in a beautiful and quiet area, near the green areas of the old city embankments called ‘Stadsgraven.’
The charming neighborhood of Christianshavn offers historic canals, colorful houses, and cute winding streets. The neighborhood has many hidden gems to enjoy a cup of coffee and a book along the water, or you could experience the many cultural sites nearby.
Electricity, water, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the rental price at Langebro, which means there won't by any unforeseen monthly expenses for you as a resident.

General information
Langebro Kollegium was built in 1912 and the original purpose was to house the sugar refinery company ‘Phoenix,’ where there were offices and apartments for refinery workers. A phoenix bird emblem still appears on one of the neighboring buildings. It was completely renovated and transformed into a DIS Kollegium in 2016.
Langebro Kollegium is a smaller DIS Kollegium, with room for 41 students. It consists of 28 rooms divided throughout four floors. Each floor has 9-12 residents.
Rooms are part of an apartment, where you share the kitchen, bath, and toilet facilities with the other residents on the floor. Rooms are unfurnished, while the common living room and kitchen are fully equipped.
